Braille Signs

Braille language was invented in the early 19th century and is normally based on an alphabet of raised dots in a six-dot cell made up of two columns and three rows. These cells are arranged as letters are in English words, allowing people with impaired sight to read. Signs using exclusively Braille are becoming quite popular (often seen on lift and pedestrian crossing controls), but more often than not braille signs are incorporated into tactile signs and other signs for maximum utility.
